I would recommend this treatment to anybody who has the first signs of arthritis to bone on bone like me. If you want a quality of life and want to get rid of any arthritic pain. I’m so glad I have done this and if in 20 years I needed this treatment again I would be first in the line as I am totally delighted with it, I don’t have the words to express how pleased I am.

It all really started 30 years ago, my knees started to get really stiff and sore, it really progressed to not really being able to walk properly. It ended up I couldn’t straighten my leg and couldn’t even get up to the bathroom. I work full time and have 3 flights of stairs to manage everyday, but I struggled to go down the stairs. I had to take one step at a time. Seven days a week, every moment of every day I had pain and I knew I needed to do something. I found it affected my golf tremendously, the next day after playing I would be in agony. I would have to take up to 4 paracetamols to get through a round of golf. Once it started to affect this I realised I had to do something about it, it was ruining my quality of life.

Constantly thinking about the chronic pain really affected me mentally and everything in my daily life. It does make you slightly depressed as not being able to play with the grandchildren the same as before. I even had to change the way I dressed, as my knee was swollen. I really had to think about wearing pretty dresses and I certainly couldn’t wear my high heels anymore. For me not being able to wear my favourite high heels, it changed my life completely and I didn’t want to stay like this forever. I wanted to do something positive to change this.

My osteopath said I needed a new knee and I ended up having an arthroscopy which didn’t help. The thought of having knee surgery was horrific for me, I just simply didn’t want it. I came to Professor Wilson and he also advised that I needed a new knee but said we could try the Lipogems, he gave me that choice of something that could help me walk again. It gave me a chance that something other than surgery could work.

I am nearly 4 months since having it done. From the first hour, my knee was stiff but I didn’t have the same pain as before. As it has progressed, each week I feel I can do a little bit more. Now I am well able to get up and down stairs in the same way as my 25 year old PA, in fact we even race each other now.

It’s not perfect yet but I don’t have the same pain as before and now in the morning I can get out of bed and walk to the bathroom without a walking stick. For me it’s a great achievement and I’m looking forward to finding what I achieve in the next 6 months. I personally feel it has worked perfectly. I can walk the golf course, I can walk up and down stairs and walk to the shops. I have a new lease of life, I now don’t take any painkillers. And I now have the energy to get up for work and I enjoy it.

I am so sold on Lipogems as it’s all natural and nothing foreign. I have never had Botox and would not have the time to maintain it, but I am interested in Lipogems for the face, I would like to look fresher as I work very hard. But at the moment, I am enjoying life again because I have a leg I can walk on.
